I just bought this wonderful ride this past December. I wasn't sure I was going to like it since I own a big rig excursion all lifted out and chest beating bad.

Anyway, back to the hummer.

The driver side inside door pull shut handle is fractured and loose when the handle is used to pull the door shut. Looking it over, I thought maybe the two screws behind the open door lever were missing, but nope.

So can any one throw a few do this pointers before I rip this open and jaw drop cause I have to buy a door panel for 700 bucks.

One more thing, when I read how people remark how big the hummer is, they should step in and see the size of the excursion. That's big.

 

They may be big but no disrespect they are ugly. Cannot compare the looks of the two trucks.

 

If you are going to keep the Hummer I would buy the new door panel. One of these days you won't have the option and you might wish you had.
I'm sure it could be repaired with some ingenuity.

I would like to see some pics of your Excursion. Sounds like a nice rig.

 

You do realize you sound just like those who say the Hummer is an ugly thing and devote time bashing a dying breed, whether an Excursion or a Hummer.

People would die for either one and most can only dream of having one, let alone both.

Both rigs are really sharp. I would be proud to own either one.

 

I believe you can buy just the handle if that is the broken part. Take the panel off and look at the back to see what is exactly broken. Maybe you can just fix/reinforce what you have.
