Noticed my right thumb portion of the drivers side door handle is a little loose. Tried to tighten it through the plug in the side of door but still is loose. Is this a common problem with this door since it gets opened the most. Any other fixes for this. Bolt is as will not turn any more and I do not want to strip something.

 

The bolt is just for the end cap. The center portion is a complete handle and yes it is common. You could try buying a replacement ,but the way door the mechanism is, it'll end up doing the exact same thing...that's if a replacement even fixes it

 

WOW! After 50 some views on another site and 35 views on this site, I just want to say thanks for the information. Out of 85 views you are the only one with insight to this problem. Since I am here, any ideas on why the heated seats do not work. Checked the 01 fuse and that is OK. Thanks again for your feedback.
