I haven't had any issues with my H2 until the last couple days. My engine temps have always been 205 degrees.

Two days ago, we had our first freezing temperatures. The weather has been 20-30 degrees. I also noticed two days ago, that my H2 is running hotter than usual.

Today I drove it around town and the engine temps while cruising at 30 mph would rise up to 225-230 degrees. When I come to a stop and idle, it would fall back down to 210 degrees within 15 seconds. Upon accelerating, the temps would slowly climb back to 225-230.

Does anyone know whats going on? Perhaps a sticking thermostat?

Just trying to get a heads up on the symptoms here. I will replace the thermostat tomorrow and replace my antifreeze just in case.

Sounds like it's low on coolant. I think you are on the right track with a new thermostat and fresh dex cool. Oh yeah buy an OEM thermostat or at least a Stant brand. Don't get a cheap one.
