Rough idle, then... stall?
So, I've read up on the rough idle issues and how cleaning the throttle body will resolve this. It was on my to-do list, but today I was going from drive to reverse and the idle got extra rough and then my H3 stalled. It always felt close before but never actually died.
Does this sound like a product of the crappy idle or is it indicative of something more sinister? I've got 100,000 miles but the thing has always run like a champ.
I guess maybe I should mention that, when idling, the engine always has a little "rattle" to it. I thought this was just the way the gutless I-5 sounded... but is that, too, potentially indicative of something worse?
TIA as always.
