Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Won’t start when cold

I have a 2005 H2, when it gets below 30 degrees Fahrenheit it won’t start. It does nothing, no clicks, no start to turn over or crank, but like it’s just completely dead. No dash light are on, new battery, new starter ( alternator is pretty new as well) . Once the weather warms up the truck starts right up. Any ideas or similar experiences?

I’ll try that, but I did try to jump it and it still acted like it was dead, but I was just battery to battery, so maybe it is the ground wire

Well, that seemed to work, jumped ground from battery to engine block and it fired right up and it’s still only 18 degrees out so it’s not warmed up enough to say the heat did it!!!!! Thanks !!!! Hoping a new ground cable fixes it for good.
