All ready have a Spring kit in route. I'll keep looking. Even changing to springs is a big deal. You need a Tech 2 or a Bazillion dollar Scanner to depressurize the system before you rip into it.

Anyone know what was the revision / differences between the 08/09 vs the earlier 2 compressor platforms? I realize the very early 2004/2003 had single compressors- obvious difference there - just wondering if the dual 2004 - 2007 would work in the 2008/2009?

There is a 2007 on ebay... says it works but looks like chit. Don't think this would work on a 2009 H2....

Default H2 2008 air ride control module

Hello, I'm new here and have problems with my air control module.
The compressor is working fine, but module is not communicating properly, so Service stability track is coming on randomly and put car into first gear or switching off the fuel pump.
I have searched for the module for long time without success.
I think my only option is to convert to coil spring or scrap my car.
Does anyone know how to disable the module communication when converting the system?

Best Regards Jorgen

I'm in the process of changing out my Air Ride system. Just waiting for some information . Mine is a 2009 LUX SUV 6.2. Not sure why the Stibility Track warning is coming up on yours. Yo should be seeing "Service Air Ride" ??? Anyway, Converting to Coil springs is a Standard procedure as far as it being done. What I'm waiting on from my mechanic is how to tell my H2 not to turn on the service air ride light.

You can visit Strutmasters on line and by the coil springs and shocks as a Kit. Made in the USA..Not China. They don't sell the isolators that go on the top and bottom of the spring. You can find them on eBay.

Default Service air ride

Yes, Service air ride is coming as well.
I have checked the strut masters and they seems to be very good, but I can't find the information how to cancel the communication to the module.
I'm Swedish by the way, and I live in Dubai.
End of December and will fly to Houston for the AC/DC concert, so I will bring the strut master kit with me.

But if you are converting your 2009, can you sell the module to me?

As of now it is my daily driver. and I have been going back and forth with this system. At first I thought the compressor was leaking from the fill / exhaust vale as the the H2 would stay up for three weeks and then out of know where it would sag down. I thought I was shutting off the motor wheil the compressor was running causing the valve not to seal all the way.

Cut to the chase.... I left it sitting for about three days as I didn't have to go anywhere. Found the H2 had leaked all the way down. So...it now turns out it is probably the air lines or a bag leaking. But since the H2 is now 17 years old, I'm not investing in Bags and lines and labor to fix it only to have the compressor fail down the road.

So Hence the Conversion kit and waiting to find out how to keep that Service Air Ride light off before I add the springs. As long as I use the rig a day or two it will stay up I hope.

When I change out to coil springs I plan to sell the compressor on Ebay and get some of the money back for the springs and Labor. So right now I have no idea what is going on until I hear from my HUMMER mechanic. As far as I know there are no parts available for the compressor or the complete unit except for one I found on the web in the "UK" a few months back If you have the GM number you can search for it. .It was a Brand New unit and they wanted about 3400 Pound Sterling about $4400.00 USD plus shipping.

So as of now I'm at a stand still.

I have been searching for the compressor unit for 4 months without success, so if you go ahead and convert your Hummer please sell me your old one.
You can ship it to my daughter in Houston and I can pick it up there.
I will same or more than you can get on ebay.

And if you get the information how to disable the alarm when converting to springs I would appreciate if you can share that information with me.
