This is actually as smooth as I could tune this cam at idle. Barely shakes at all.

What brand cam and specs did you go with? Not much chop on that one... LSA 112?

I swapped the cam in my 09 Alpha Off Road couple years ago and went with a TSP Stage 2 Low Lift Truck Cam Specs: 212/218, .550/.550 112 LSA with LS6 springs and tuned it so only gear heads might know what is going on. Very Happy with that mod along with my other performance mods.

 

So this is a BTR 206/212 .553"/.553" 112 LSA cam with springs, pushrods. Tuning it to softly idle without hitting any spark under/over speed timing. OL tuned so it moves when you press if you know what I mean. No other power producing mods besides catch can and better electric connections on coils. Also tuned transmission for higher rpm shifts so always good power there and no lockup of TCC since I like there to be none on my vehicles. I can light up all 4 wheels from a standing start but just did it once as these tires are not cheap. Nice to have joined the forum in case I get stuck on something. Cheers
