Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
My madness continues.... After, I replaced the incandescent 3057 brake light bulbs with 144SMD 3157 6000k
I noticed the brake light bulbs were 2x+ brighter than my replacement reverse 8w 3157 33SMD bulb.
So I ordered another set of the 144SMD 3157 6000k to replace the previous updated 33SMD reverse light bulbs. I like the way it looks now, bright as, if-you-see-kay. Picture showing 1-33SMD with 1-144SMD reverse bulb:
Pictures showing before and after the 144SMD bulbs installed:
Years back I installed 2 led strips into the high mount brake light, however not bright compared to my other brake lights.
I gutted the housing front & rear then installed this light on the front with 2 screws after drilling pilot holes then remounted on the upper door panel.
These lights have 3 wires White=Ground- / Black= +low light / Red = +high bright light. I only connected to the high mount original wiring blue to red & black to white.
Huge difference in light output viewing in person compare the before>>>> after:
Funny you should post this. Just yesterday I took my H3 to the dealership because half of my O.E.M. CHMSL was out. They ordered me a new O.E.M. and it should be here in a couple of weeks for them to install. Yeah, I know, it will probably cost between $400 and $500 dollars, but that's the beauty of an extended warranty.....zero cost to me.
Edit: Just realized I posted to a 5 year old thread.

Post a pic showing light output when reinstalled. Btw, how much does your extended warranty cost?
