Default Zone leveling has any one installed it?

I thinking of install one? it comes with new keys, front dif spacer and shock spacer. I think it's the only kit with a dif spacer?
one more thing does H3 have 2 or 4 bolts holding the front dif to the frame? I could only find 2 put, i was told it has 4

You do NOT need new keys to level an H3/H3T. Please search this forum and you will see hundreds of threads stating the same thing.

Diff spacer puts a lot of stress on the diff mounts. A few have done the diff spacers and they ALL have removed them.

Instead of the shock drop brackets use a 1/2" nut on the top mounting point to get your shocks back into the "sweet spot".

With the money you save on not purchasing the kit you can get a lifetime alignment at firestone after you adjust your torsion bars and add the nuts. Don't forget to drive it a little (1or 2 days) before the alignment due to the suspension settling.

Hope this helps and saves you some time and cash!

Ahhh, no as long as you stay within the suggested parameters mentioned in almost every torsion bar leveling thread.

You are not changing the spring rate of the torsion bar by either method.

Hey it's your money, blow it however you wish. I was just trying to save you money for other mods. What do I know.

I would love to know the source of the crap you read.

The T Bars are the spring, they are not changed whether you use stock OEM keys or waste $$ on aftermarket junk you absolutely do not need, thus spring rate does not change.

Many other GM vehicles require a re-indexed T Bar key to lift the front, but those should not be confused with the H3 that was intentionally designed to allow front suspension adjustment with the factory keys. Like nothing else come to mind?

Rocky. Do you see the little words next to their avatars that read "senior member" and
"super moderator"? Listen to what they tell you.

So Doc, can you break it down for this ol' redneck...I have been on the forum board for about an hour and cannot find the consensus on the most econmical way to level the front end of my wife's '07 H3X, without compromising rideability, reliability, and basically just screwing something up in the interests of saving money. I would rather spend a little to save alot in the long run. Bilstein shocks and an alignment job? You've stated no new keys are needed, but what is the minimum I need to get the job done?

The minimum you need is a wrench to adjust the stock T Bar bolts to raise the front to no higher than 23.75" from front fender lip to hub center, followed shortly with an alignment. Where you get into problems is if you over do it by raising the front too far. Many people started with the assumption that 24" up to say 24.5" was OK, but time has shown anything 24" and over was too much and stuff starts breaking when wheeling.

I have been running the stock Adventure series shocks with the front leveled at about 23.6" for more than 4 years.
