I'm hoping this merger makes it cheaper to combo 1 sirius receiver and 1 XM receiver on a combo plan instead of full price for both. 77 a year is a good rate, I'd bite.
Does the 07 H3 come "XM ready" and we just activate it or do we need to purchase a receiver? If we need to purchase a receiver, does the original radio come out and is replaced with a radio/receiver combo in the same slot?
(If the manual explains this, I don't have it with me right now...OK? Remember, it's called HAPPY New Year).

I believe that most come with the radio and a three month free trial subscription. If you don't want to pay for it after that then you just don't get the XM channels. I do know that our "3 month trial period" lasted a good bit longer than three months.

Thanks for that tip Wrongway1. I Just called and got the promo for $77/1 yr. Used my radio ID and had no issues at all. They also offered me a XpressEZ for $5.95 as long as you get a 3/mth subscription. I am please at getting XM for the $77/yr as my 3 month trial just ended and I liked the XM channels, I passed on the XpressEZ though. Again Thanks all for sharing this!!

I just got one-year at $77 + tax. My 90-day trial expired December 12.

I called 866-409-1096. Told them my trial had expired and I wanted to see if I qualified forthe $77one-year-special. He said yes. I gave him my radio account number (from channel zero) and credit card info and he fixed me up.
