WTF!!!
I just had the same pop up I got last night. It said a remote system was trying to access my computer. It asked if I had accessed a gaming site or other site that I allowed access. It gave me the option to grant or block access. I blocked it like I did last night. What did the pop up you guys got say?
The JS trojan used comes from www.banner82.com which is known for being a "phishing site". If you do a search on banner82.com you will find other sites that have been compromised by the same people.
More info on this particular trojan that was used on our site: http://www.symantec.com/security_res...102718-1528-99

As of yesterday, they haven't told Patrick jack. They just tell him they were working on it. It happened to almost all 50+ automotive forums associated with the company. I would assume jdrew's conclusion is the most logical one.

Bullitin board "code" is easy to screw up... You basically have just a few strings of code that dictate where links should point on all things clickable. (minus the adds and such) It would take a short amount of time to change the "root link" so that all sub-links that pull from that line of code are sent to the new location.
