Hi Guys

Realtively new to the board as a poster, although we've been"lurkers" for some time.

We just picked upour black'06 H2 and have been looking for two of the plugs (rubber or plastic/nylon?)which fit into the existing square license plate mounting holes on the front bumper.

Is this something that can be picked up fom the dealer (we're nearSilicon Valley Hummer in California) or is it an non-dealer specialty item?

Wow! thanks for the quick reply .... I'm going to drop them a note on Monday.

But just to confirm, are these the small "button" plugs used to cover up the square holes through which the plate is mounted to the bumper, or are these the actual grommets which allow the plate to attach to the bumper? We're looking for the cosmetic rubber or plastic plugs to fill the holes since we won't be using the front license plate.

Good question... I think they are just square snap in "nutplates" if you will...

I had the plugs in mine before the accident and was using a receiver license plate holder.... then after the accident The collision center installed the entire plate holder.

 

The plugs you're looking for are only available in packages of 10,but,I have used ones I'll send you,for the cost of postage. Bill
