By the way, what do u guys think is the best way to clean the engine after mudding?
I always use a little water and dish detergent, splash it all over everything let it set..then hose it off with pressure from the garden hose....Then dry is all off with a leaf blower, then shine it up with some spray Vinylex..Leave the hood open for a while to let everything dry out.

So after further consideration I think I may have made a mistake. I got the Airaid system and love it. It sounds great and there is a difference in the pull the truck has. However, I'm thinking now I should have gone with the K&N to get the new intake tube. Anybody know where I can pick up just the pipe?

I Have the same K&N filter. Just wondering what your MPG is towing.I
tow a 16 foot Lund. The average is 12mpg. I also have a Tule MOAB
rack on top I noticed it dropped my milage when driving empty.

Mark..engine cleaner is a very caustic degreaser...It can damage the paint[:@]

I use mild soap for obvious reasons, cuz we're only talking about mud/dirt

Hey Firsherman...Lund is a very nice stable boat..But I don't own one, so I can't give you any info on towing..My friend (I'm guessing you seen the cat Picture) owns that one and he is the one in the picture...On the otherhand, IMPORTKILLER has a bigass bass boat, I'm sure he can let you know something about towing...Sorry.
