Default wobbly drive

Hi Guys,

i have the feeling that my H3 2006 behaves like a boat! (I might be a bit spoiled by driving a VW touareg V10 diesel with pneumatic suspension until a few weeks ago ).

The hummer feels a bit spungy and does not take bumps and holes in the roads here in Portugal very well.
Is this a matter of putting some decent new shocks on the car or is this about the sprigleaves being soft or "worn"??

If it is the shocks what would be a good set to replace the current ones? no lift ! would it improve the handling and make give it a more rigid ride?

thanks for your advice in advance,

Joost

the ride on the H3 will definitely be rougher than the touareg..specially with the leaf springs at the back..you can go with a whole new suspension setup from OME that will change the suspension to almost nice .But , frankly the set up on the H3 is not bad for a Hummer..It can take bumps and potholes without even slowing down...and it's almost smooth on the freeway.....
