Default GM Rocker Panel Protectors/ are they real rocksliders?

Are the GM H3 rocker panel protectors actually functional rock sliders or are they heavy duty nerf bars? I was thinking about buying some but not if they are crap, thanks.

Nevermind, found some threads, however, if I want to run 35's would they rub? couldn't find any info on that.

Yes the are functional. They actually provide better protection for the rocker panels/under door than Rocky-Roads'. They do not, however, stick out as far as the Rockies so you can still get door dings. They do not rub with 35's.

Thanks Airborne, I couldn't pass up $375 shipped, that's a freakin' steal imo, oh well, gotta start resaving for the Magnaflow exhaust, and Cortex.

The Ridge Demon ones were my first choice, but at 3x's the cost (at least the H3T ones are, I couldn't get the H3 ones to load a price ) and considering how much I would be in situations that require them I decided that the GM ones would fit my situation perfect, I also looked at the Rocky Road ones and read a couple threads on here and the fitment seemed to be an issue with those.

Brodie's are def in a class of their own!! Here in LA the OEM sliders are able to handle the terrain without any issues...When I move back to AZ, I'm sure I will need to upgrade to the Ridge Demon sliders. The rocks there are killers

Mine are GM. They feel pretty solid but I put them on just for looks. I like the way it fills the hole up above the step bar...

Nevermind... I just remembered that I passed on the GM ones and bought the matched set of Manik bars. Sorry about that.
