Hey all,
2004 H2 with the Navigation Screen/CD player. I am fixing to install the Ipod interface that plugs into the existing wiring but it needs to be tapped into a power wire and ignition wire. My question is when i pull the player out to tap these two wires into the factory wiring, what color wires will i be looking for? the wires i have now are the traditional red(power) and yellow(ignition) that come off of the ipod interface. will the wires i tap these in to be the same color? or a different color? thanks

 

Hi, This is the factory wire diagram that I have listed. It does not say which factory radio but all the factory wire harnesses should be the same.

Radio 12V orange + radio harness
Radio Ground black/white - radio harness
Radio Ignition (Class 2 Serial Data)
This one you will have to run a wire from under your streering column to the radio area. Look for either pink or white wire for ignition (keyed)
