Can anyone else confim this? I do not see a TSB for this problem, but if it is as cnynctry says, that will be a great fix, but I want to be sure before "insisting" to my service manager that there is a fix.

 

I work at a cadillac/hummer dealer and am unable to find out if there is a bcm reprogram. I have not found a pi or bullentin on this. I have not downloaded a truck to see if there is any update listed fro bcm but I think I would know this by now. Will try to find out some more ifo. today. Steve

 

It will come back as being a bad batch of wiper relays ,

 

I did some more checking and there is a bcm reprogram like cnynctry stated to corrcect the delay. I have never had this come up so never checked into it. Steve

 

Awesome, I will let my service manager know so he can look into it as well, then when I take my truck in for a checkup, they can "fix" this problem. Thanks

 

Would it be possible for you (H3X442) to list the PI number or TSB or whatever info you have on this? I took it to my dealer, and they said I already had the latest version, but that it is possible the US and Canadian BCM software is different. The have run into cases where certain software updates are not available for Canadian vehicles.
