Default Wind noise just keeps getting worse

The plastic parts on the roof are now vibrating like a clarinet reeds at any speed over 65 (or less if I am facing into the wind). I looked and there does not seem to be any cracking to these parts as mentioned in other threads, I have no marker lights, and have taken off the cross bars for the roof rack. I can however create quite the symphany by tapping on all of the loose plastic parts around the windshield.

Has anyone else experienced this?? Can I put a dab of adhesive on all of these parts to keep them from vibrating?? Is there a TSB out there thatallows me to take thetruck back to thedealer under warranty and have them replace the loose parts?? Or, is this vibration a pride ofownership thing??

The only noise like that I've ever had was on our 06 we had; and it was cracked Pillars. If that's not the problem I'm not sure what else it would be. Don't think that I would be too "proud" of that. Take it in and have them fix it.

I've got the same problem. It just started a few weeks ago. When on the interstate driving at 65MHP (+/-) into a good headwind, I get a nasty vibrating hum from the upper forward corner of the driver's door. I mentioned this when I was at the Hummer dealer last week. They said there is an adjustment they can make, and set up an appointment for me, which happens to be tomorrow. Hopefully this will resolve things.

I never saw the crack on the windshield pillar but the dealer said it was defective and they replaced it. Take it in, I'm sure they'll address it.

I tookmy H3to the dealer for windshield wind noise. Took them almost a fulltank of gas to find it by taping areas off and even using some sort of pressure foam. Turned out to be a poor seal on theoutside that was whistling in through a different area on the inside. Wierd. Decided to wait until after the winter to have it replaced because they will puta new windshield in for me andI am expecting several more rock chips and more sand blasting from the constant road sanding. Great dealer to work with here.

If you have the top roof marker light option, that is your problem. Your dealer is aware of this & wil fix at no charge.

Hey Wrongway, I had it on my '06 and on my '07. As a matter of fact, it's back again on the '07 and
I will have them address it on my next service vist. If you've never seen what is under all that
plastic cladding, take a look at this thread from when I got my windeshield replaced....

Sorry, I read too fast, I see you do not have the roof marker light kit.
You also can check the side plastic pillers They have two phillips screws on the inside when you open the doors and the rest just clips into place.
