Went to a Chevrolet dealership that service the Hummers and found that the moldings are going to be replaced under warranty with new ones in a few days. Hopefully that will cure the problem. Until then i'll post an update. Thank goodness it is still under the 4/50k mile bumper to bumper warranty.
I am starting off with what physically looks questionable and with GM services/parts under warranty. I'll go from there.

Is it okay to add to a thread?

Thank you kindly

I was referring to the upper corner windshield moldings that was lifting off glass. I was also trying to respond to carcrazy reply to search the forum and solve the problem. I did search the forum before adding to this thread and how I am going about it is how I am solving the problem. The reply said to search on a forum and solve the problem. I wanted to share my findings by adding to the thread. So is it ok in the forum to share information to an existing thread?

Mine was doing the same thing. Pull off the drivers side and passenger side piller moldings on the outside, (plastic snaps underneath, couple screws) silicone underneath and apply pressure with tape. Let it dry overnight, problem solved. The 3M tape works too but if you ever have to get your windshield replaced, you have to scrape all that tape residue off. With the silicone, you peel it off pretty easily. Both ways work, your choice.

Since the H3 is my wifes car I dont tend to drive it very much. However lately when I do I have noticed a wind noice (kind of irrating) at speeds above 20mph. Trying to troubleshoot I was thinking it was possibly the mirrors since the noise appears to be coming from there. Although hard to pin point. I was also wondering if it was potentially the two "squarish boxes" on the upper part of the hood near the windshield. I guess I will check all moldings and see if anything needs afixed down to eliminate the sound. Its definately not somehting that existed when we first got the H3.

I was also considering the panel that comes across below the windshield wipers... mine seem to be loose. I have an appointment tomorrow to get those windshield moldings replaced under warranty since they seemed to be losing their shape with original windshield from what service writer says. Ill update asap if that noise is gone.

I will try that if it the wind noise seem to come from the upper corners of the winshield.
