Default Will this tire size fit?

Currently have the stock Bridgestone Dueler RHS 285/75/16. Can I fit a 295/75/16 or 285/75/17 size tire without any issues?

Looking at Toyo Open Country A/T MTII (Xtreme):
Open Country A/T II | Toyo Tires

in sizes: LT295/75R16 or LT285/75R17

I know the 295/75/16 will fit and they look good but your choices are very limited. Don't know about the other one.

The 285/75/17 will fit too. they are 33.83" diameter. It's not a very common size though. You might have trouble finding them too.

If you are going to change from OEM 16" wheels to 17's, make sure you get the correct Back Space on the new rims or you WILL have rubbing issues. That's a whole seperate discussion.

You can go all the way up to a 315/75/16 (35") tire on the H3 without doing ANY modifications, including leveling (H3's look better leveled though).

The most common size tire used by H3 owners are 285/75/16 or 305/70/16 (33" diameter) or the 315/75/16 (35")

anyone know if the 305 or 315 sizes require the spedo to be recalibrated?

That is up to you. The 305 will not change the Speedometer because it is essentially a 33 inch tire the same as your current 285's. The 315 will change it somewhat. If you will do a search you will find out exactly what percentage. I don't know. Good Luck

I run 305/70-16's and it is 3 mph off at 65. It is really going 68mph.
