the best thing you can do is just get an aftermarket headunit (radio) with bluetooth...like the avic. that would be the best recommendation I could make

I'm on Verizon and my phone works fine in my other and previous cars/trucks. Anybody else notice more dropped calls frominside the H3? Another strange thing is that the H3 kills my phone's battery in a day, I never had to bother with a 12V charger cord before.

maybe your phone's face is staying lit while you are on it in the H3. Mine is programmed to shut the face and key light off after 60 secs. that could cause your phone to die fast.

When I firts got my H3, I was on Tmobile and I had a lot of dropped calls. Back in December, I switched to Verizon and it was fairly simple, plus I never have dropped calls anymore. First I got a family plan with a phone for me and one for my wife. Then all I had to do was call OnStar and they hooked the H3 up for me. The truck shows up on my Verizon bill as an extra 9.99 per month as a family line. I understand the concern about having to use Verizon as they are one of the more expansive carriers, however they are more reliable than other carriers in most cases. When I first moved into the place I live now, my Tmobile would not get reception here and while I was waiting for my house phone to be connected I had to go out to the truck to use the phone and it worked great.

no not with the equipment you have now. You can buy a bluetooth like listed in this thread or get an aftermarket radio with bluetooth.

NJTEX...sorry, I misunderstood your post...my bad. I thought you were saying that while on your h3 phone (onstar) that you cell phone was losing battery life. Like it was working as a bluetooth. I didn't realize till I read rhills reply that you meant while talking on your cell phone in the h3 that it goes dead faster...my mistake.
