Default Widest tires on the stock rims

Guys
i just purchased my first (2004 H2 with 110000 kms). I dont want to change the original rims and wanted to put wider tires.
What will be the widest tire size I can put on original rims as I am going to powder coat the rims. I think it has 315 70 17 right now

Personally I wouldn't go wider than 12,5" on the 8,5" stock rims.

These will fit with no mods. Good looking and nice riding tires about 208 each.

Welcome. This is the stop by and say hello area for NEW MEMBERS. Please ask you "how big/wide of tire" question in your vehicle section (H2) where tech questions go.

Try doing a Search, the how bog o tire thing has been asked and answered many times.
