Default Who makes a gas can carrier for H3?

Does any company make a single or double gas can carrier for our H3's?

Come on guys please help me put here. I travel off road and some times have to start heading back to civilization because the gas tank is about 1/2 empty.
Is there any way to carry extra gas either in a spare tire carrier or any other ways?

skeet, I have a set of Jerry Cans that I use with the mounts going on top of my Gobi Ranger rack... the mounts for them are fairly simply and you could add them with a little ingenuity to any roof rack...
Mine: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tools/Bli...8401&t_pl=9603

I know some where there is a mount for mounting a jerry can onto the spare tire...
Here we go...

Hope this helps... where do you wheel? What other mods have you done Skeet?

Thanks for the info.
I do most of my off roading in Arizona where I live and this is a great place to really go way back into the wilderness especially if you have a BLM permit as some places are closed without the permit. We do go to Moab sometimes too.
The only mods to my H3 are 35" BFG/MT tires on stock rims. It gives my Adventurer Package another 1" of ground clearance and fills out those big wheel wells. Never had a problem with them on the factory rims.
I did not see anything that would fit or work with my H3 on that website. It did not have a clear picture of how it attaches to anything.
Do you get a chance to do any off roading in Conn.?

Rotopax makes a spare tire mount that will work on the H3. The roto fuel packs work great. Although they are a little spendy, they will never dent, rust, or crack.

mounted on a JK/ but you get the idea

you can haul 4 gallons per side/ two sontainers per side = total of 8 there.

or they make 5 gallon ones that are larger and can be mounted to a roof rack. They mount to the GOBI's easily.

Timgco - That looks like it will also work with my 35" tires. Years ago someone made a kit like that but they used a metal band instead of the web belt.

Who would you say has the best price for the mount and also the small cans?
Thanks

it's a custom build though, and he referred me to ridgedemon.com. Brodie at Ridgedemon.com said he has no plans at the moment(September 2010), but maybe after his current projects are done he'll look into it more. If there's enough of us on here that request it, I'm sure he'd build some.

Yeah, Brodie of ridgedemon.com is super busy with the pre-production run of the new Rock-Basherz (rock rails for the H3 and H3T). I can't wait to get a set for Mr. Blue and Mr. "T".

If you can get 10 preordered he might build them once he has the Rock-Basherz up and running. I can tell you they will not be cheap, Ridge Demon makes some great, stout and tough parts that will last longer than your current H3! As with almost everything, you have to pay for quality!
