Would anyone know of a place to buy quck disconnects for H1?
I tried dealer and oh boy, they are spendy.

714-669-3699. Tustin Hummer. They specialize in H1 parts and have an internet department. Ask for Mike Saberesse and tell him you are a forum member. He'll do the best he can for you.

 

Mike may be able to hook you up with some rebuilt ones or rebuild yours to save some $$. Dave at Bluehummer.com was selling his own quick disconnects he assembles from McMaster-Carr, I think Kurt Williams is using them. They are a bit cheaper than oem.

I use the blue hummer kit, which uses the PVC/Plastic hose from AM General but NPT gas o-ring fittings from mcmaster.

I beta tested the units for bluehummer.com and kept them, they are easier to service than the OEM [which you can't seperate without unscrewing lines] plus the o-rings are real simple to swap out.

The price was reasonable, much cheaper than going the AMG route for a better product IMO.

 

if I ever need new ones...I'll go the Bluehummer route too.
