When you bought H3T.....

Just bought a used 2009 Alpha on Friday. :-) Found it at a GM dealer in Corpus Christi, so flew down and drove it back on Friday night. Aransas Autoplex - very good, easy transaction. It is replacing a 2004 GMC Sierra Z71 and so far very happy.
We took a lot of time to try and find an Alpha with the Adventure package, NAV, backup camera, etc. Trucks with those options seem to be fairly rare. Found a couple new out there in the $51k - $54k price range, but couldn't really justify that much for a truck.
Seems like lots of good information in the forum discussions. Thanks to everyone for sharing.

I just got a new T in June! Its a 2010 Canyon Metallic H3T Adventure! The date of manufacture on the door sill reads 1/10, I have read on another forum that only 125 T's were made for retail sale in 2010(125 actually manufactured in 2010 for a total of 749-remainder of which were made in 09). So the Alpha off-road's and even the I5 adventures are rare to find made in 2010, especially in the premium colors(like mine). Does anybody have a date later then January 2010? Too bad I will be beating this truck up on the trails(where it belongs) it could've be a collectors item !!!

Bought mine on 3/10/2010 at Bachman Hummer in Louisville. It had 9 miles on the odometer and had exactly 200 when I arrived back home.
I paid the $1,000 deposit over the phone for my H3T without ever seeing one or even riding in any Hummer, but I always knew I wanted one.

I bought mine July 5th in Baton Rouge, LA. I had an H3 for 3 years but knew the H3T would be a better fit. From what I could tell, all the H3T were basically gone in Houston and within 300 miles, mainly because they were never stocked heavily. On a trip back from New Orleans, driving through Baton Rouge, I noticed the dealer there had what looked to be quite a few in stock. They had serviced my vehicle before on a road trip, so I thought I would give it a shot. Basically made the whole deal by phone including the trade on my H3. Drove in 4 hours and expected to drive out with the new truck. Had a few suprises, both good and bad. Truck had more miles than what I expected being a new truck, but the price was close enough to what we discussed (and a great price for my trade). I also was able to get the $2k in free accessories, which I thought had ended, in addition to the rebate and high value for my trade and 2.9% interest rate. $2k in my choice of add ons and a great deal > some miles on the truck. Drove it home that night and couldn't be happier.
