Thanks guys. I purachased an 03 with about 11K miles on it. Exceptional shape.
This seemed to be the best value of the considered vehicles.

ORIGINAL: Muddydawg75

I found a guy that has a painted front grill for it.... Black of course.... I found some black door handles too....

Soon I will be bling free....
I'm working towards that too. I'm seriously considering the black powder coated billet aluminum handle buckets for the outside, black door handles to go with them. The grill I'll probably take in and have coated with a bedliner type material whenever I muster up enough energy to take that honkin azz brushguard of mine off ... which isn't going to happen anytime soon lol. The !@#$!~@# thing is fastened using both the stock fastener location behind the lower grille trim but also using the front hood latch bolts so chrome grille won't come off unless the BG does, sucks :/
I think I have everything else blacked out with the exception of the roof bars and the trim around my clear/smoked roof marker lights .. Now If I could do the same to the little chrome that is inside the cab I'd be set :-)

Poor Bob is probably about to break down hearing us both get rid of the chrome LOL! Bling just ain't my thing no more, went through that when I had the Avalanche and though very nice looking I prefer a rig I can beat up as much as I want without having to worry about the trim pieces ... granted .. I did take a small chunk of powder coat out of my BG last time I went out LOL!

Chicago, I'd consider the location you are purchasing from. I'm in Michigan and chose an out of state '03 and mine looks better than any '05 around here. I bought from NC just so it never experienced road salt. You can eat out of the engine compartment and it was 30k less than new.

Yep, I found this one down south also. No salt - no below zero starts. Kinda makes me feel sad, as a very nice vehicle is about to go into rust belt service.
