Default What size driving lights?

I am looking to mount four Off road driving lights on a roof mount light bar. I am looking at the hella black magic 500's. They are 6.8" lights. Are these too small to mount on the roof? I spoke to a offroad parts store and they said they might look a little funny because they will look too small. They make a 1000 series that are 8". Which would look better? Just want to know what most guys are running on their roof mounts. Thanks.

6.8" seems fine to me. Why not mock it up with microsoft paint? That's what I do sometimes whey I'm trying to decide on some mod or another.

Hey Giantsfan,

On my H3, I have 6, 6" lights on my roof.
They dont look to small at all, that might be because theyre only a half inch apart and fill the whole width of the roof, but I think 4 6.8"s would be fine if you set it up correctly.
(especially since black magic lights look beautiful)
