Hi all!

So, here in Sweden the market is pretty good and the price vary from 15k USD to 24k USD, a -03 can go for 15k or 24k.

But, one of the AD´s I´ve seen the seller is writing that he have done service on both the engine and the transmission for about 10k USD. But no more info about what service is made!

So my question to the owners in here, what should I look out for when searching for a H2? And is there a problem with the trans and engine over all?

the 6.0 engine is great... tons of aftermarket parts ... we have the engine in race cars.. totally stock except cam and nitrous .. making 650+ hp ... the transmission isn't to bad.. you have to keep up with fluid and filter changes every 30-40 thousand miles..


I would look at all service papers he has.. make sure it wasn't in any major accidents .. and look for rust! frame, body, everywhere .. look under the truck for any signs of leaks.. trans fluid, oil, and rear fluid.... make sure the brake lines are not rotted away " common problem" and lastly... TEST DRIVE IT.. make sure it drives straight and smooth... no shakes or viberations .. test every button and window ..


Just my opinion.... you DON'T want someone else's problem... hope this helps...

Check Trans fluid for any coolant contamination (coolant use to leak in in the tranny lines when radiator is bad) also check diff and transfer case fluids

Those are some of the wick points .
In general it is a strong engine
Make sure you double check fluids and I will install an aftermarket tranny cooler as first

 

Checked for cracked door panels and outside door mirrors that do not power fold. Those items are $$$
