Oh by the way ZYNE, I once looked into doing a tandem dive but exceeded the size limits. I gues they couldnt
find an old military drop chute big enough to safely land my 260 lb 6'2" @ss AND the instructor.

Looking back on it, the fact that I couldnt do it then IS a regret and WAS probably a blessing.

We take 260+ on a regular basis at my home DZ. The larger 500 sq feet canopies handles em pretty well with the right tandem pilot underneith ... I'm about 260 with my gear and that under a 170 sq foot canopy .. then again, I've done it a few times :-)

It CAN be a blessing. A co-worker of mine went out to another DZ in Indiana and shattered his tib/fib plus dislocated his ankle .. It took I think 10 weeks before he was walking at all ... Then again considering what we do .. the risk of getting hurt is a part of it .. if you're not willing to accept it you probably should consider something a little less dangerous :-) Between a 40 mph + impact that put me in the trauma center and a 6 week stretch on crutches as a result of a student almost killing me I've been pretty fortunate .. a few bruises here and there, a couple of cuts, been knocked unconcious a couple of times due to violent openings, a spraine, just minor stuff .. Besides, if you ever end up doing it you will understand why the risks are worth it :-)

Thanks for the hookup on the brushguard, I may need to just pull the trigger on this a bit sooner than I thought ...

In all honesty Impy, I don't really care for flying commercially either ... I guess I just don't feelcomfortable knowing I have to actually land with the plane

ZYNE: To the best of my knowledge, these guards that TT has are genuine SMA and not some kind of knock offs. I do know
that the fit and finish on mine was outstanding. I’ve seen a few posts here and there from folks having fitment issues and
wonder if they really got an SMA product. I guess the bottom line is, unless SMA gets reincarnated, you better
get one while the getting is good.

As for the jump, I think my time for activities that risky has passed. I’ve way too many people depending on me
these days and I can’t jeopardize their quality of life so I can jump out of a perfectly good aircraft. I know that
one's safety depends on the prep and training prior to going up.......but......Like that little red head in Vegas years ago,
I'll just have to wonder.....

It sucks having to get all responsible and sh^t......

Stars and Bars: Thanks for the compliment. The more I look at it and drive it, thehappier I am. This truck is more ME than
anything I've driven in the past 10 years (except for my '72 Stang convertible). Think I'll keep this one a while.

BTW: That aint no wallflower you’re sportin' about town either. I almost bought a red oneafter I ran across pics of your H3 way back
when you first got your roof rack.

Ironically you stand a higher risk getting hurt driving to the dropzone than actually jumping .. from a statistical aspect at least. Responsibility in all it's various shades of glory ... one should not stop living completely as a result of em :-) Not stating you have, just simply saying if something adds quality to your life like it does for me, I think you should keep it in your life To each his/her own though!

Thanks for letting me know about the short supply .. I guess it's time to whip out the credit card and git'er done!
