i've had vent smells from two sources.
the first is hitting the mud with the A/C on, which sucks alot of gunky water into the system and can stink for a good long while. Spray alot of lysol into the inlet while the A/C is running to fix that.
the second was the skid plate filling up with oil and grease from a blown part or 2, and the normal oil changes, which lent a bit of an oily/greasy shop kind of smell when the a/c was on. the fix for that is just cleaning things up.
i get oil spills - small amounts, but not nothing - from changes because i have a home-made skidder that doesn't let it all flow by. I got an H2O skid plate with some mods to make it fit from a friend who used to have an H2 not long ago, and that looks to be a better unit WRT changing oil.

i finally found out what the problem was, you may have the same problem too... after an hour of searching under my hood there it was!!!!! i guess that smell was coming from the engine bay.. i must of accidently ran over a prius anddidn't realize...i think the horrible smell may have been coming from the owner though[sm=roll.gif]hahaha i keed i keeed...

nope i fix the problem my truck didnt turn on this morning i had a dead battery it suck lol i chage the battery then when i was going to turn the truck back on today to come home it didnt work so i got a charger and charge the battery got a battery tester and it showed me that the battery waesnt good at all and the smeel started to come out lol i hit autozone like 15 min later and one i check the battery i notice the smoke and the smell was crazy lol well my battery wa leaking and it was a bout to blow up smoke was coming out of the battery i stop at autozone and replace the battery
