curious lately i've been having a weird smell coming from my vents when i turn on my ac, it only lasts for about 2-3 minutes but embarrasing none the less when i pick up people in this california hot heat... i'm tired of explaining that it's not me it's the vents hahah just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or any similar problems.. it never did before i bought it, i'm thinking when i took my hummer back to the dealer for some work they stuck somethin' dead in there... [:'(]
i tried spraying the under carriage, looking for dead animals in the engine bay, all they above, only thing i can think of is maybe a rat or cat crawled in to keep warm at night and got trapped!!? i tried air freshners, and hoping the smell would go after a bit of time, but that smell is just too ripe, andhex(hummer)
isn'tcovered under any warranty i guess i'm sol for the meantime.

lol this might sound funny but idead RAT in my vent THAT WHEN WE TOOK IT OUT IT LOOKED LIKE was kill by her husband lolol cause we found 2 of them in my vent one of them was still alive.not on the h2 but in my old minivan how they got there i have no idea

Silly question.... Did the smell start occuring after you made your G/F climb the fence at 7am with the 2 pitbulls?
If so... apologize and ask her what she left to rot in there....

but it only happens when i turn the ac on.. so i know it's coming from the vents and it lasts for about a good 10 min... i'm almost positive something died in there.. [:'(]i haven't had time to get in there in check.. so i've just been riding my bike cuz the smell is horrible..
