Sorry bout that.

My thought is kinda like, if you have no idea what to look for or how to fix anything automotive and you are just going to a repair facility and hand them cash to fix it.... why ask what might be wrong?

When you drive an old vehicle (h3s are now 8-12 years old), be prepared for stuff to need fixin. When you add to that the limited production factor, be prepared to hand out the cabbage when you do get it fixed.

Anyways, best of luck. Enjoy your 3.
i apologize. I did not get your sarcasm with the emojis. A little back ground, I was given the H3 from someone who was getting a new car. It was well taken care of and I have enjoyed having it. I came here asking for advice for what it might be so I don’t get taken advantage of. 😁

Go to some mechanics and state your problem verbatim and they might laugh at you and at the same time be thinking about how much $$ they will take from you which leads to what Doc says about knowledge being power. It also protects you from greedy mechanics.
You might try to describe if the noise is coming from the front or back of the H3. If it vibrates, do you feel it in the back of your seat or in the steering wheel? Does it do it right after start-up or after it has warmed up? Kinda like going to your doctor and telling him/her, "I don't feel good".
Don't be so uptight, relax.

You are right, I was vague. I apologize. The noise happens when I take my foot off the gas pedal when I am driving. It starts when I reach up to 40mph. Going 40-50 mph is when it’s seems the worst. It is loud and sometimes it makes the stirring wheel shake. From back seat passengers they have said they hear it in back too. I greatly appreciated any help I can get about what the problem might be. I know I know nothing, that is why I came here to ask the ppl that do. 🙂 ✌🏻

Sounds like 2 different issues. Front shaking the wheel could be wheel hub, half shaft, front diff mount, steering rack bushing.

Rattle in the rear could be the jack in the door. Check to see if it is loose. Or the rear door striker may need to be adjusted or replaced.
