Default weird feeling in gas pedal when turning

When driving either on the highway or smaller roads, when I turn the steering wheel any amount, I feel kind of a gritty feeling in the gas pedal (pretty sure I feel it when braking too, but it's more noticeable through the gas pedal). It doesn't make any noise there's just the weird feeling like there's sand or something in one of the steering components. Has anyone had an issue like this before? I'm going to try to think of a better way to describe in case it helps any. Thanks for the help.

Ben

I believe there was a tech bulletin for steering column stiction that also showed symptoms of brake pedal popping/vibration. Could be that.

I had the popping issue with my other H3 and they had to replace the lower steering shaft. This is different though. Even the smallest steering wheel turn as I'm driving on the highway will give me that weird feeling.
