Greetings all, Well I have had major water issues with my truck for the last two months now. I had the windshield replaced. The windshield was not even sealed along the top...... go figure.... Little black grommets are filled and glued in. Roof rack bolt heads are sealed. Running lights are sealed.
The last troublesome issue was the passenger door seal. It was the section the goes under the roof rack, all along the top of the door. The water was getting under the seal, running fwd. to the apex, and coming in at the A pillar. Only verified with the headliner pulled down as I was physically checking the sunroof drains for spilling out. They were operational but my knee got drenched I then realized the major culprit all along.......
There is the one section of the door seal that transitions from the horizontal length to the a pillar cover. That was all sealed up fine. It was coming in from along the roof line and just going right behind the seal making it completely ineffective..
Hose test good.
