I posted this topic on another forum when I ordered, but waited until I received it to post again.
Sure enough, I got a 2007 H3 intake, model 15636, for about $110 total. It's still their "older" filter, for those aware that they have a new one. Autoanything, etc, etc still have them, the 15636, around $250-$300 from what I've seen. I'm sure there are better deals, but you get the point.

is the maf on a 07 sqaure?

 

I've read it many times...no directions. With no directions you're just putting it together the way you think you're supposed to. I'd think with the R&D they put into it, they'd want it installed just so. My main concern is how the tube should be installed relative to the silicone sleeves. It's on there pretty solid, but some direction would be nice so I know it's installed "correctly." Is it pushed too close to the resonator box? Too close to the air box? I guess it's about in the middle. Also, the list of items doesn't match what really came with it. Plastic screws?? Ya, not in there. There were a couple of stainless ones. It's just a photo copy, change it!

Drove to the store about 2 miles away and back...I'll give it some more time. Sounds different when given a little gas. That's noticeable.


Square MAF? I don't think it's square.

 

Good deal, too bad they leave the resonator box in the system. Kills a bunch of its potential gain. Doh?

The hole in the bottom of their box don't help either, but at that price....a bargain.
