Vin & chasis questions
Hi am from honduras sorry if i have poor english.
i import a Hummer h3 2006 now i have problems with my dumb people or ignorant people of customs in my country they block my car because they say why is diferent VIN of chasis number? why is diferent serials of engine and chasis.
this is why i post this msg in this forums somebody can help me to explaim why is diferent vin,chasis engine serials? on hummer h3?
sorry for this dumb questions but am trying to get information to show to customs of my country

It may be because the chassis and body are two separate components and each have there own number. The VIN is the number for the body and the chassis number is for the chassis.
