Hello...

I have a H3, 2006. The traction/abs sysem faulty failed light keeps coming on, however, while I am driving, doing about 65-70 mile per hour, the car just stops rolling, completely. This is a very dangerous situation to be in because many times I have come very close to causing accidents. When the car stops, it is very hard to get it going again. I have taken it to the dealers several times, they have even kept it for a few days only to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the car.
I am very frustrated and do not know what to do.

Should I have someone disconnect the traction/abs system, will this help?

 

Did a Hummer dealer look at it yet?

 

Hit the OnStar button as soon as it happens so they can run the diagnostic. That will provide documentation of what happened.

 

Edna, This is what I did on my '06 H3, Mine would just shut off, called on star for a diagnostic check and they called the Hummer dealer and set me up with towing. They paid for the tow and the fix. They found a faulty computer and a bad battery, cost me $0.00 plus got a '08 H3 to use till mine was fixed. Make sure you go to a Hummer dealer. Couple months later I traded in the 06 H3 Adventure for a 09 H3X.
