skeptic and twinmill28, we also just purchased a 2010 H3, had a H2sut couple years ago and would go with Seiner Hummer to the Moab outings for a few years. Would love to get together with you all and wheel around here and Moab. Let us know when you are going out next and we will try and join you. We live in Heber so we are pretty central to wherever you guys go.

 

Sounds good to me. I've only met twinmill once, but he did say he doesn't like wheeling in the snow at all, and I wouldn't really know where to go that doesn't have closed trails anyway. Probably not going to do any wheeling until the snow melts and trails open up, but I'm sure once that happens there will be posts here about it.

I know there is a Moab trip planned for sometime this spring, but I will not be able to get out of work for it.

First things first--Seiner just called me and has TWO SUT's for sale--your pic, 06 Blue Special Edition or Orange 08, both with low miles! We gotsta get you back into an SUT.
As for wheeling--yeah, Jack's right, I'm mostly against wheeling in the snow, mostly because around here you could tend to slide off things. My wife is willing to do a really mild trail run around here if we can find anything open. We were thinking if you head west toward the desert, there's some trails out there going to old mines and ghost towns and stuff; we'd just need to pick out a good place to go and make a plan.
We're only going to be in town for the next three months, then moving back to Florida, so we need to do something soon! I'm pretty much tied down to work for the next month, so it would have to maybe be something toward the end of March. There's also a couple of other local HUMMER's from another forum that might be willing to go to--so who know's, maybe we could pull something off.
I'll ping back within the next week or so after I look over my trail book and see if I can't find something kinda central to where we're all at; in the meantime, if anybody else has any ideas, post up!
