Does anyone know of or have used a jeep wrangler rear seat as the Auxilary seat that mounts in between the two rear seats? I am having trouble finding a used H1 specific seat. I was thinking about getting a junked Wrangler seat and welding up my own frame to mount it. I really need something. Just bought my first H1, even though i have been responsible for many HMMWV for the past 10 years(thanks army!!), and my wife is HOUNDING me about getting that seat because we have 3 kids. have a little trouble coming off the hip for 900 bucks for a seat. I know, I know, dont play if you cant play! But i am pretty handy so it shouldnt be that big of a deal for me. just wanted to know if anyone has tried it.

 

The rear Jeep Wrangler seat fit perfectly between my rear seats and bolts into the tie down holes. You would need to drill a couple of holes for the seat beats but it fits and works well.

 

Do you know the year model that works? or is it any model wrongler, minue the brand new ones of course. I want to have this ready for when the truck gets to my house, about 3 days after i show up from mid-tour leave.

 

Sorry, I have no idea what year model Jeep the seat came out of. It came with the 97 H1 when I bought it.
