Default Urgent help needed!

Purchased Derale Dual Electric Fan Control module with push in thermo sensor. Install it but didnt work well with push in type sensor. What came across my mind is that can i tap into the engine coolant temp signal wire? Basically it will detect temp from that sensor. OR,can i need add in thermo sensor which going into the engine block? If yes, where is the best location and what type of sensor work best?

You need to throw the radiator probe in the garbage, i never cared for them...

Then buy the following, it is a 3/8 npt fitting joint, that fits into your upper radiator hose..

Check out this link, you can see it installed
https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...-34873/page19/

Then buy a replacement 3/8 npt sender from derale, it should plug right into where the radiator probe would connect to harness..

But just a heads up, replace the cheap chinese fuses that come with the derale controller, they are garbage, i had one melt in its holder today, i pulled the other controller fuse and found the legs of the fuse to be very weak, and not seated correctly, that is what caused the other controller fuse to melt..

Radiator Sensor Tube Adapter Water Temp Gauge 1 1 4" OD 3 8" NPT | eBay

Here is the garbage fuse, on the right, that comes with the derale controller
