Default URGENT - Air Doc Install Issue

I am installing my Air Doc Intake right this second on my 2010 H3T Alpha. The instructions say to "lift" on the intake vacuum line and it will be removed from its grommet. However, no matter how hard/where I lift, pull, or tug, nothing comes loose. I currently have no intake and cannot drive my truck. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! I am pretty desperate to get this done, and I have no clue how to get past this issue.

Problem Solved. I guess I just wasn't brave enough to pull as hard as I needed to.

There is a little tab at about 8:00 on the plastic connector. Lift up on that with a small screwdriver and pull. I know what you mean. That very issue frustrated me the first and second time I installed the Air Doc. It had just been long enough between times that I forgot how it worked.

Standard pinch and pull fitting, pinch hard with fingers causes the tab to move out of the way from the metal vent tube collar (from the motor) and the plastic vent hose pulls off quite easily. Once you have done it a few dozen times, it's like steeling candy from a baby.

Glad you figured it out. Kind of gives you that "why didn't I think of that right away" feeling. Been there lots of times.

Another connector that is different, but even more frustrating, is the EVAP line off the TB bung (I5s for sure).
