Default upgrading stock lighting in front end.

So after changing out the front lights with a 6000k hid set up (low beams only) and swapping the bulbs in the drl's , Ive noticed a lot of fogging on the lenses. I used a headlight lens restoration kit to no avail and also removed the housings entirely and washed the dust out of the inside of the housings...both drl's and headlights.

got fed up with it all today and ordered

to convert the drl's into fog lights, and

to replace the headlight lenses.
Will install this weekend and I'll keep you posted on the difference if any.

Yes, mine is less condensation and more discoloration. I actually took the whole assembly apart and cleaned it out. my problem is in the glass or plastic itself.

Flatlander; the headlight assemblies are made by ipcw. they are the "crystal diamond pie cut headlamps". The DRL replacement that changes them to fog lamps is made by delta. the come with a wiring harness, switch and relay. Im going to wire them into the off-road light switch on my headliner.

Ahh, got lights just now. gonna have to pull the brush gard and grille off. oh boy. will do it this weekend.

These were what I put in mine after some small modifications to them:

They are insanely bright and were only $60 on fleabay. I had done a lot of research into the Delta's and the different kits they offer but the install and price was a huge deterrent.

You can take a look at my build thread for more info on the LED's I installed. They function the exact same as the stock DRL's but without the nasty looking stock housings.

I guess I don't have a build thread on this particular site but I did make a post of the install so here it is:

Default Delta fogs

I installed the delta fog hid conversion kit several months ago. The difference in lighting is amazing. I also converted my headlights to hid as well.
