Default Upgrade to Power Seats on 2007 H3

Hi There,
I have 2007 H3 without power seats. I have someone that is selling a set of seat of power seats for a 2007 H3. I want to buy them and have someone install them.
I called the dealer and asked to see if they would do it and they said that its risky and my creat a problem for the computer since we are putting in new cables to the computer.
The guy who is selling it can also install them and sayes that there would be no problems that would come up with the new cables.

I would have thought that the plugs for the powers sets just would be there and we wold just connect them, but it looks like that's not the case or may be ???

I am not very handy with cars, and just don't want to run into issue with the electronics of the car or void my warrenty, but realy want the power seats. :-)

Direct bolt in replacement.

I would be suprised if the power leads are not already there. They make only a few variations of the wiring harness to keep production costs down and moving. Al of them already have the seatbelt connections, I think the power is with that too. If the leads are not there, it is a simple matter of running a power feed under the carpet to the seats.

I know this is an old thread I'm brining back to life here.. but I have the same thing going on, chance to pick up front and rear leather seats with power and heat for $500.. My question comes down the the "heat" is there any way to take advantage of that? I'd imagine I'd need a fuse and the control thats in the dash or arm rest or where ever its located.. anyone ever do anything like this? And what do you think about $500 for everything good deal or pass? Seems pretty good to me

the switch that turns the heat to (low , high , off) is on the side of the seat by the adjustment controls, so i would guess nothing else needed

No timer for the heated seats. High, Low and Off switch. Rear Window Defroster is on a timer.

if you dont find existing harness you need to be sure the feed is controlled as h3 heated seats are so the power gets killed by ign and bcm as is normal.

so dont wire direct!, the bcm provides some control, relay 87

Picked up my seats today for $400!!! they are perfect I'll get pics up this weekend.. I made out even better because while there I landed a fuel pressure regulator for my audi a4, a new fuel rail and injectors... all I needed was the FPR and got all that thrown in. Total cost $5!!! those FPRs cost $100 on ebay!!! Great, great day!
