I don't know if any of you are watching the other threads about what's going on but I thought I should update you all.

The reason why the problems are taking so long to resolve is because all of the autoxxxforums.com sites are going through a software upgrade. The process is very time-consuming and slow because of what needs to be done to maintain the search engine status on sites such as Yahoo, Google, etc.

Unfortunately they have no ETA on the completion date. I don't know yet if the forum will look different, act different, etc. but they had two choices; fix it, upgrade it quickly and loose some of the content, or keep the content in tact and take the time to do the upgrade correctly.

When I find out more I will let you know. I've been busy with some other things but I will be on a bit more hopefully soon.

Biggest question most have is when will the problems be resolved. Sounds like we aren't sure yet.

 

The only thing they keep telling Patrick is that they are working on it. We are all at the mercy of the network and web programmers, including Patrick.

I'm in the process of getting a second car so I'm still searching and talking and all that wonderful stuff. I've been at it for a couple of weeks already. I'll try to keep up with what's going on and update as necessary. Hopefully once this is all said and done the forum will be a much better place.

Umm Mike, there is a nice big sticky announcement post that we had patrick put on top that says the same thing[&:]

What could the issue be? As long as their keywords, domain name and Meta doesn't change the google ranking won't change.
