OK HERE IS MY UPDATE STILL CAN NOT MATCH THE COLOR SO THEY HAVE A SALES PERSON FROM DUPLI-COLOR COMING IN TO SEE IF THEY CAN MATCH A CAN FOR ME.

 

make 'em repaint the whole truck.

 

why not just have GM do the paint work. They did the paint work on my dads new 1988 dakota when he got hit a few months after buying it. insurance covered it and it came out like new. took some time to do though.

 

I'm just ready to go buy a new one and they can keep the old one

I'm no expert regarding paint, but it does seem strange. I have had some items painted to match my H3 body color, and they did not have any trouble color matching. They just read the GM code and got the equivalent color. Maybe yours is unique in some way. Sorry to hear about your continued troubles, and hoping you get it resolved soon.[&o]

 

Mark, your color has been discontinued...correct? Maybe that is the problem?

i got my paint at napa they used the gm code
and mixed it right there... all they did was push some buttons
the dealer didnt even have my paint .
