Truth is written all over this thread, and this is a great post. I believe, correct me if I am wrong, our soldiers are fighting for OUR freedom, not oil. If they were fighting for oil we would probably see a little drop in gas prices . All in all, those guys need to be given all the credit in the world. They put their lives on the line every friggin day say you can drive what you want, do what you want, say what you want and even use the internet to troll around sites like this. If you don't like us, fine, but don't call us unamerican.

 

it's ignorant to think we are the only free contry on this planet. We are there to protect our interests in the middle east. One reason gas has become so expensive is our tanking economy even so we are still several dollars/gallon cheaper than europe (and other countries with no freedom such as australia, new zealand etc...).

 

Does 4hummers know that he drives a vehicle that uses oil......Plus I am glad to use oil that our people are dying for cuz if nobody used it they would be dying for nothing.

Happy belated 4th to you! (we were Rving the Oregon coast) But wanted to say, Any day is a good day to drive a Hummer!

 

I had some driver pull up next to me and laugh... at first I wanted to jump out of my skin and run him off the road, but then I realized that he was driving a Jeep Commander, which gets a much worse MPG than my Hummer... so I proceeded to laugh back... he was not happy, lol

 

all I can say is, wow! How incredibly pc of you.
