how many U-joints our H3 have? garage mech, said i have 4, and check underneath theres only 3.

can anyone provide me PN#and brand preferably greaseable seems like OE are due to be replace.as im hearing some squealing pig while cruising

i search, read and troll but can find thread with regards to # of U-JOINTS

there are three two on rear driveshaft one on front driveshaft i just changed mine to the greaseaable type picked them up at NAPA

1 on the front diff., 1 on the rear diff., 1 on the rear of the trans case=3

thanks guys, finally my H3 shuddering is gone, went to NAPA per NM and got the Ujoint

and with hummerz PDF,,,
i print it out bring it with me to a rookie mechanic and use as reference, ,mech. just had a hard time taking off one UJOINT the other 2 came off easy.104.00 CAD for 3 ujoints then decided to get my transmission flush, filter, oil DEXCRON VI syn 140.00 CAD so total cost for parts and labor @ 244.00 + 20 dollar tip,, i thinks labor and parts cost was not bad.

 

has any one made a video on how to change the u-joints
