I'm planning on putting 315 75 R16's on my H3 and was wondering how much it will throw off my speedometer?

depends on what model H3 you have, what size are your stock tires?

 

I have an 06' Lux/w off road package--285's stock wheels

 

BTW DAGKANA, I like your ride, what kind of tires are you running? Are they 315's?

 

Maybe not exact, but pretty close. The 285's specs are about 630 revs per mile and the 315's are about 600 revs per mile . The math comes out to about 5% .. Hope this helps

 

Zip, as DAGKANA said it depends on the 315 you are going with. Some 315s are 34.4" tall and others go as high as 35.2" tall. Tell us the tire and we will figure out the difference.

315 75 R16 Goodyear Duratracs

 

I figure you will be going 5mph faster at 65 than your speedometer will show. I went from 265's to 315 Cooper SST's and mine was off 6mph @ 65. I recently got a pcm tuneforless and the speedometer is back on. Well worth the 149 I paid for the Christmas special.... I got the shift change (2), feels like I have a lot more get up and go... found me some power I didn't have before the tune... Well worth the money.
