Default Tires question.. need new ones and some advice

I need to try and make a decision between these:

Yokohama Geolander MT plus
Goodyear MTR Kevlar
Mickey Thompson - Baja MTZ Radial
Interco IROK

I hear Mickey Thompsons are better in the snow, but have you had any bad reports on any of these? I have an old set of Military MTRs now but I'm getting cracks in the sidewalls.

I've seen some great reports on the Mickey Thompson MTZ, but only on jeep forums.

I have a 1996 HUMMER H1 and the size is 27x12.5R17

thanks-
Dave

Go with the Nitto Terra Grappler MT's, great ride , quiet, yet very aggressive.........great sidewalls !! I have the 295/70/18 on mine....actually a 34.5" tire. Love them !!!
I had the Mickey Thompson MTZ's on my last Hummer H3....they were OK, but I was not crazy about the way they balanced or wore. After having the Nitto's........I will have nothing else. I had a lifted Toyota Tacoma about 7 years ago and ran the Nitto Terra Grappler's on it (all terrains), they were great tires also.
The Terra Grappler MT's are like in between the Terra Grappler AT and the very aggressive Nitto Mud Grappler's....

Out of the tires presented I would go with the Kevlar MTRs. My preference is the BFG KM2 for the H1.

Just put a set or super swamper boggers on mine because I spend a lot of time in the sloppy stuff. And there just isn't anything out there that can beat them in the mud. Prior to those, I had Toyo open country MT's on there. Those things were super quiet, rode super smooth, did surprisingly well in the mud and had a great wear life. If u are looking for an all around tire, those are what I ha e run on two vehicles so far. But from wheeling with my buddies and reading reviews and test, out of ur list I would go with the MTRs
