Default tires,opinions [please

i guess my stock 285s arent made anymore. i was ok with them . dont do serious offroading. concerns are snow and road noise.
local store has ,,,cooper at3 285 at $800 apx for 4.
i dont know tires xcept stock are still ok at 63000, not too good in deep snow with wear. probably could live another yr but im ready soon.

Those sound like a good choice for your driving style. Discount Tire also has the Cooper ATP which looks like a re-brand of the AT3 with a slightly different tread for about $10 per tire less.

The Coopers are a good choice, quality tire and made in the USA. They should do what you need them for.

The OEM Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S that came on the H3 Adventure have been excellent, and I will get them again in a heartbeat.

According to Bridgestone's web site, they absolutely still make that tire.

Bridgestone Dueler AT RH S | Bridgestone Tires

Does your tire shop sell Bridgestone tires or are they trying to get you onto something else? By the way, if you are willing to make a move to a different brand, and I would if I did not have a perfectly good Dueler AT spare, the Goodyear SilentArmor tires are amazing. I went through two sets on the 4Runner I had before my H3, and got almost 90K of mixed driving out of each set. They are a bit pricier than the Bridgestones, but you get a LOT more out of them. Absolutely amazing tires.

The duratracs are a little more aggressive than an AT and can perform well in the snow.
